Description
HRV 3C Protease is a recombinant cysteine protease from human rhinovirus 3C. It can recognize and cleave the sequence: : Leu-Glu-Val-Leu-Phe-Gln↓Gly-Pro (LEVLFQ↓GP). This protease is used to remove fusion tags from recombinant proteins with the specific cleavage site. Therefore, detection of HRV 3C Protease is important for evaluating the level of HRV 3C Protease in samples. Leadgene® HRV 3C Protease ELISA kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the quantitative detection of HRV 3C Protease level in cleavage sample solution. The HRV 3C Protease ELISA kit is for research use only (RUO). Not suitable for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Test Principle
HRV 3C Protease ELISA kit is used to detect HRV 3C Protease in samples by sandwich ELISA method. This assay uses microplate pre-coated with mouse anti-HRV 3C Protease monoclonal antibody to the solid phase. HRV 3C Protease in the samples conjugates on solid phase and then react with the HRP conjugated mouse anti-HRV 3C Protease monoclonal antibody. Subsequent wash steps will residual unbound antibody. After incubation with substrate solution, the reaction is determined by the absorbance at 450 nm. Quantification of HRV 3C Protease level is accomplished by comparing the absorbance with standard curve.
