      Interleukin 5 (IL-5) is a 45-60 kDa homodimeric cytokine that functions principally in the eosinophil arm of the Th2 response. It is a member of the helical bundle family of cytokines, along with IL-3, IL-4, and granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF).

      It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration not less than 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
