    NKG2D (Natural Killer Group 2D) protein is a receptor expressed on natural killer cells, T cells, and other immune cells. It recognizes stress-induced ligands expressed on infected or transformed cells, such as MICA and MICB in humans. Upon ligand binding, NKG2D triggers cytotoxicity and cytokine release, promoting immune responses against infected or cancerous cells. NKG2D signaling plays a crucial role in immune surveillance and tumor immunity. Dysregulation of NKG2D-mediated pathways is implicated in autoimmune diseases and cancer immune evasion. Understanding NKG2D's functions provides insights into immune regulation and potential therapeutic interventions for cancer and autoimmune disorders.

    It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration not less than 0.2 mg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
