Description
Nuclease is a genetically engineered endonuclease from Serratia marcescens, it is produced and purified from E. coli. The enzyme is a non-specific nuclease, which effectively degrades single-stranded, double-stranded, linear, and circular DNA and RNA over a wide temperature and pH range.
Leadgene® Nuclease ELISA kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the quantitative detection of Nuclease level in sample solution. The Nuclease ELISA kit is for research use only (RUO). Not suitable for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Test Principle
Nuclease ELISA kit is used to detect nuclease in samples by sandwich ELISA method. This assay uses microplate pre-coated with mouse anti-nuclease monoclonal antibody to the solid phase. Nuclease in the samples conjugates on solid phase and then react with the HRP conjugated mouse anti- nuclease monoclonal antibody. Subsequent wash steps will residual unbound antibody. After incubation with substrate solution, the reaction is determined by the absorbance at 450 nm. Quantification of nuclease level is accomplished by comparing the absorbance with standard curve.
